No more stinkin bobbles

OK... I'm doing it... I'm finally finishing my Mom's Bacchus socks! (I finished my sister's present but can't show it to you until she gets it because sometimes she actually reads this here blog.)

In fact, I'm going to blog the finishing of the socks...

I'm on the final row of the ribbing...

See all those bobbles? All those eeeeeeevil little bobbles? Yeah, I'm not doing another freaken bobble for a very very long time.

And the sewn cast off.

Notice that I'm not doing a regular cast off... oohno. I kind of tried that already, with the first sock. I know, I know... the pattern said to do the sewn cast off but I figured, "what the hell? It doesn't really matter that much anyway, right?"

*sigh*

I couldn't get my foot in the thing, the edge was so tight. I ended up having to rip back the whole cast off and redo it... sewn. It's much better now.

SEE?! Yay! They're blocking now and will be all set to go in the luggage tomorrow. Better pictures later when they're on my Mom's feet.
