This is what she had waiting when we got to her house. I love my sister...
After a snack and some catching up, we decided to get some real food and went down to Newbury Street to one of her favorite places, (restaurant with French name number one) Bouchee. The perfect way to come back to a city you love? A great meal and a walk through this:
She had to work the first couple of days, but that just gave me a good excuse to walk around and soak it all in. (click to enjoy the view)
The first day was Boston Common
They have really awesome squirrels there
And REALLY awesome trees
Had a terrific lunch on Newbury Street (is L'Aroma French or Italian? I say French. Number two.) and then did some shopping before heading back to meet up with the Sistah and make our way down to, (French restaurant name number three,) Petit Robert. We were actually lucky enough to get our soon-to-be-groom cousin to come out with us. Or maybe he needed to escape the pre-nuptial madness... hmmmm
A lovely time was had by all and the next day I wandered around again. This time going... (to be continued)
