OK, August GCP by the Pool pictures... The pool in question is at Karen's (not the Karen with Finn) in the lovely San Fernando Valley. Although, if there's anywhere to have a pool, it's there. It was a very hot summer day and there's no close up of Karen because in the one I took, her eyes were closed.

Now, as July's GCP was so small there were barely any pictures, this Girly Crafty Party was the biggest one yet. We had lots of space, most of the ladies hadn't been to one since June, and the idea of hanging by a pool rocked.


Dayna, picking her next project in "Naughty Needles" and biting her lip - Eva, doing freehand needlework over a stain in one of her favorite skirts. It ended up looking really cool!

Here's the whole group while it was still small enough to fit into one picture. Once we started to get bigger, we had to move so we weren't blocking the building walkway.

There was a little bit of swimming but, as wool and water don't really mix all that well, there wasn't a lot. The spread was glorious, it was sooooo cool to see everyone and we completely freaked out all the neighbors who couldn't get that we were all hanging out together to make stuff. It was funny...
