The Birthday Weekend Begins...

Yesterday was such a good day and the only thing saving me from being sad it's over is that I know today, tomorrow and the day after that will be just as good, if not better. Kittywhumpus is here! Whoot!

Picked her up at the airport yesterday and we jaunted about LA, looking at shoes, shopping for awesome beer at my store, grabbing some food and settling down at home for some serious catching up and The Big Bang Theory watching. She's hooked now, too. Damn you, Mom! Getting us all hooked on that show...

This morning, we've been lounging around and planning out the day. LOTS to do but plenty of time to do it and it'll only help build up the excitement for tonight. You see, there's going to be A Party. Yes, capitalized. We're both turning the big 40 and so the event must be rightfully and thoroughly celebrated. Hopefully, we'll be able to remember it. Pacing is the weekend's keyword.

People are flying in today, on a private jet, for it. That's right, my friend from The Other Side is coming back to town and helping us celebrate in style. We're pretty much taking over the W Hotel Hollywood for the weekend and I can't tell you how freaking excited we all are! It's going to be one for the record books, as these milestones should be. There will be pictures.
