Sister's Hat

As I actually did some knitting lately, I figured I should post about it here. Finished a great hat for my sister that'll match her scarf and mittens:

It's modified from the Knit1 "Chunky Cabled Tam" pattern. I knit it up according to the pattern and it turned out to be about 50 lbs and looked like an oversized chef hat. Not good. So, I ripped it and made it a bit smaller. Took out some stitches between the cables and left out one of the cable repeats. This was very good. Happy Birthday, Sistah!
